Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and PresidentNumber of Positions Available: 1About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager, Outsource Vendor Service to oversee and optimize our network of outsourced transportation partners, with a strong focus on taxi and stretcher (non-emergency medical transportation) providers.In this role, you will ensure vendors consistently deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality transportation services while meeting contractual, regulatory, and performance expectations. You will play a key role in strengthening vendor partnerships, improving service outcomes, and supporting efficient, patient- and customer-centered operations.What You’ll DoVendor & Performance Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with outsourced taxi, stretcher and other outsource transportation vendors
- Establish, monitor, and enforce service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and quality standards
- Conduct vendor performance reviews, audits, and scorecards
- Address service issues, escalations, and corrective action plans
- Support vendor onboarding, contract renewals, and negotiations in collaboration with internal partners
- Review and validate vendor invoices; investigate discrepancies and cost trends
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness
- Ensure vendors meet all licensing, insurance, regulatory, and safety requirements
- Oversee compliance with stretcher transport, patient handling, and accessibility standards
- Support incident investigations and follow-up actions related to safety or service concerns
- Partner closely with Operations and Accounting departments
- Support capacity planning to meet service demand, including peak periods
- Contribute to process improvements, vendor best practices, and standardization initiatives
- Prepare regular performance, compliance, and cost reports for leadership
- Analyze trends in on-time performance, cancellations, complaints, and vendor utilization
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Transportation, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, transportation operations, or outsourced services
- Proven experience managing service providers in regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Strong contract, performance management, and analytical skill
- Experience working with stretcher or non-emergency medical transportation providers
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and accessibility standards
- Experience managing multiple vendors across different service areas
