- Good communication and computer skills
- Must be familiar with customer service and food service principles
- Knowledge of food safety standards, effective sanitation and housekeeping practices, and the operation of standard kitchen appliances and equipment
- Ability to learn routines related to food service shipping and receiving, working accurately with figures, keep routine records, and follow written and oral instructions
- Completion of Grade 12
- Specialized Knowledge/Education: (Preferred) Enrollment in or completion of Apprenticeship training Red Seal Certification or Trades Equivalent
- Valid FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate
- An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered
