Job Summary:
The Golf Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing golf tournaments and Food and Beverage events at Silvertip Resort. Applicants must have a team forward approach to help wherever needed to ensure a first-class guest experience. This role ensures a seamless experience for participants, sponsors, and guests while maintaining a high service standard.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of golf events, including tournaments, corporate meetings, and charity events
  • Develop event timelines, layouts, and logistics (tee times, pairings, scoring, contests, etc.)
  • Collaborate with golf operations, food & beverage, and pro shop staff to ensure smooth execution
  • Coordinate sponsorship opportunities, signage, and branding for events
  • Manage registration, check-in, and on-site event flow
  • Oversee scoring, prize distribution, and post-event wrap-up
  • Collaborate with other departments include Food and Beverage, Banquets, and Event Sales.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle any issues or special requests
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or golf operations preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of golf rules, tournament formats, and etiquette is an asset
  • Proficiency with event management software ,Microsoft Office, Club Prophet, Canva and Silverware pos is an asset
  • Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, and holidays required)

Working Conditions:
  • Combination of office work and outdoor event coordination
  • Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Must be available during peak golf season and event days
  • Seasonal Position: Mid April to late October
  • Applicant must have their own accommodations
Compensation:
  • Hourly wage
