
Research Analyst - Centre for Youth Bipolar Disorder

- Conducting reliable diagnostic interviews with youth and families using standardized tools (e.g., KSADS-PL, SCID, ALIFE) and administer validated questionnaires.
- Scheduling and organizing research visits with participants and maintain clear records of recruitment, interviews, self-reports, and participant payments.
- Taking physical measurements (e.g., height, weight, abdominal circumference, blood pressure) and prepare blood and saliva samples for proper freezer storage and analysis.
- Assisting with preparing and submitting grant applications, research ethics submissions, and maintaining study compliance.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of multiple studies, ensuring protocol adherence and data quality.
- Participating in the collection, entry, verification, and delivery of data via REDCap.
- Assisting with developing knowledge translation content such as newsletters, social media posts, and plain language summaries.
- Attending regular staff and research meetings, prepare materials, and take minutes.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, health sciences, or a related field, plus at least one (1) year of relevant research experience.
- The successful candidate will be detail oriented with demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to produce high quality and accurate work while meeting program deadlines and requirements.
- Previous experience with grant applications and submissions is required.
- Previous experience working with adolescents and their families is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (oral/written) skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- The ability to work effectively in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds is required.
