What's the Job?📍 Location: Chatham or North York, ON
🕒 Duration: 1 Year |
Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Mon/Tues/Thurs, Remote Wed/Fri
🚗 Note: Drivers Abstract required (some driving involved)Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and control systems for gas distribution and compressor stations
  • Generate load flow, short circuit, and Arc-Flash reports using Easy Power
  • Provide technical input for commissioning and operational readiness
  • Lead engineering assessments, capital projects, and maintenance designs
  • Support integration initiatives to optimize engineering and operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Gas Control, Regional Operations, and Construction
  • Participate in risk reviews, asset management sessions, and change request evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety practices
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to content management systems
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to support project delivery
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in electrical engineering
  • Licensed P.Eng. in Ontario or eligibility
  • 4+ years in electrical/control system design
  • 2+ years in power system modeling (preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
