DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Mississauga! 🌟In this role, you’ll provide strategic HR support to a dedicated client group while also leading Talent Management initiatives across our Canadian organization.We’re also looking for a results-driven Head of Road Freight, Canada to join our team! In this role, you will define, implement, and execute the International Road Freight strategy, while managing and driving the performance of the Road Freight team to deliver high-level customer service through competitive pricing and operational excellence.Job Summary:The primary responsibility of this position is to define, implement, and execute the International Road Freight strategy. You will oversee performance management, ensure customer satisfaction, and collaborate across functions to drive business growth.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and drive implementation of Road Freight strategy in the countryTake ownership of Road Freight P&L and collaborate with Finance to meet budgets and forecastsNegotiate key contracts with carriers and manage RFQ processesEnsure Operations team is meeting CargoWise KPIs and managing customer expectationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with service providersEscalate carrier performance issues when neededEnsure pricing activities comply with internal guidelinesPartner with Commercial team to drive growth opportunities in Road FreightSet and monitor objectives to maximize profitability and volume growthAlign team structure with current and future customer needsMinimum Requirements (Education, Experience, and Skills):Post-secondary education requiredExtensive knowledge and experience in Road Freight forwardingProven leadership and people management experience (minimum 6 years)Background in commercial development and business growthExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and strategic decision-making abilityDemonstrated customer-centric approachYOU’LL BE REWARDED IN MANY WAYS, SUCH AS:Belong to a diverse and dynamic culture that promotes inclusion, growth and developmentParticipate in comprehensive compensation, benefits and work perk programsEnjoy a flexible, hybrid work environmentThe Freight Forwarding experts since 1815.
