- Post-secondary degree in social sciences, public administration, law, policy, natural resource management or related field;
- Experience leading, coaching or mentoring a team;
- Experience researching, developing and/or delivering programs, policies, regulation, directives, plans, guidelines and/or legislative initiatives, preferably related to natural resource management;
- Experience providing strategic advice and recommendations on complex issues;
- Experience conducting interdepartmental, intergovernmental or multi-disciplinary collaboration;
- Experience working with First Nation governments and public stakeholders;
- Working knowledge/Understanding of the Umbrella Final Agreement and Yukon First Nation Final Agreements would be an asset.
