Enabling our Sales teams is therefore of utmost importance. The NI Sales Capability & Development team is key to enabling the NI Sales teams through it's initiatives and programs to deliver sales focused product, services, solutions and selling skills.As the Leader of the NI Sales Capability & Development team, you will drive initiatives to ensure that NI delivers best in breed knowledge programs to our markets and business center teams. You will work with sales market leaders and business center primes to define their knowledge needs and requirements and ensure that the learning and Sales certification programs address these needs. The NI Certify4Success Sales certification program is the overall framework to ensure that NIs global sales team have the right and validated skills which includes both portfolio knowledge (product/solutions & services) and selling skills. The Leader of this team will have program oversight responsibility which includes the definition of the overall framework of the certification, direct its evolution which also includes the certification/validation process of the global Sales community and the management of the training programs.Working with several NI teams and leaders in these teams (including PLMs, Services PLMs, product marketing and others) you will ensure that the portfolio knowledge training required to support the Sales community is delivered. In addition to the portfolio knowledge, working with Sales Enablement teams and the People organization, you will lead the initiatives to ensure that effective selling skill programs are delivered to the Sales communities. Developing relationships with critical external market content creators and trainers will also be required to ensure the sales teams have well rounded selling skills.Responsibilities:As part of our team, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the Sales Capability development team
  • Working with all Sales markets to specify their training needs
  • Evolving learning programs and requirements to fit a multi-market audience
  • Defining along with the NI Business Divisions and Marketing the critical product, solutions and services knowledge required within the NI Sales Organization.
  • Define requirements and deliver best in class online sales learning and certification experience
  • Continue to develop the NI Sales Certification program to be internally and externally acknowledged as best in class.
  • Continuously validate the sales capabilities required to drive the NI business by adjusting training methodologies, curriculums, certifications and the learning experience as needed.
  • Ensure the Sales learning and certification programs achieve a standard of excellence which supports effective learning and enables Sales teams globally
Qualifications:Your skills and experience
  • 7-10+ years in a Sales capacity or working with Sales teams & Sales Leaders in the communications industry
  • 7-10+ years - experience in defining and developing learning/certification programs
  • A strategic mindset with a strong results orientation
  • Aptitude to motivate and drive results for a global sales Organization
  • Outstanding leadership skills including ability to lead in times of change and with ambiguity
  • Innovative and creative
  • Strong business acumen
  • Expertise in deploying global programs
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Efficiency in Office packages
  • BCom in Marketing, Business Management or similar field / BSC Engineering
