Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Expected Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement function, including team recruitment, training, and performance development
- Work with project, estimating, and operational teams to align sourcing with technical, budget, and schedule needs
- Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and ongoing relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service
- Oversee contract negotiations, supplier agreements, and compliance with organizational and risk-management standards
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and departmental budgets
- Support internal teams with pricing, sourcing, and material or equipment recommendations
- Resolve supplier issues, manage claims, and oversee rebate or value-added programs
- Maintain and improve procurement databases, pricing records, and system workflows
- Lead procurement system implementation, enhancements, and training
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and support organizational goals
- At least 8 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field; professional certification or ongoing training is an asset
- Extensive experience in senior purchasing or sourcing roles within a technical or project-driven environment
- Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams and supporting cross-functional groups
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships and risk
- Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems; experience with platforms like JD Edwards is beneficial
- Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities
