  • Track freight to ensure loads meet business orders and timelines
  • Coordinate and optimize delivery into our DC/Transload sites
  • Maintain and communicate accurate data to assist the business with making decisions.
Invoices
  • Ensure region-specific audit procedures are followed
  • Validation of invoices against contracted rates
Reporting
  • Maintain internal system and reporting so the business has visibility to product arrival and/or delays
  • Adhoc reports as required.
Problem Solving
  • Rerouting and prioritizing freight as requested
  • Identifying areas of process improvement
  • Investigate all No shows; po concerns, and takes steps to resolve the challenges going forward
  • Communicate to all stakeholders what challenges are being addressed; update them regularly to point of resolution.
Customer Service
  • Responds to phone and email requests sent by from Planners; Vendors; Replenishment; Scheduling; DCs and other members of Transportation community
  • Provide status updates to the business on shipments
What You’ll Need:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various individuals, from upper management, DC and replenishment teams.
  • Ability to work in multiple systems and applications, with a quick ability to learn
  • Teammate, who is willing to assist others when needed
  • Above average decision-making skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Prior experience in a transportation environment is preferred
