
Associate Director, Business Analyst

- Contribute to the expansion of the software development team:
- Assist in defining structure, roles and responsibilities.
- Participate in the interview and selection process.
- Contribute to the establishment of team processes, methodologies and best practices.
- Assist in the selection and setup of necessary development tools, environments, and infrastructure.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and document analysis to gather and understand business needs and translate them into detailed requirements.
- Participate in the system design process, ensuring alignment between business and technical solutions.
- Manage, analyze and prioritize requirements throughout the software development lifecycle, adapting to changing needs and priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, use cases, functional specifications, process flows, and data models.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team.
- Optimally communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences. Present requirements and project updates clearly and concisely.
- Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- 10+ years of demonstrable experience as a Software Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance and financial industries.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with GPUs and High Performance Computing a big plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to elicit and document sophisticated business requirements.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques including requirements management, process mapping, data modeling, prototyping.
- Superb communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work optimally in a team environment.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, SQL, Visio, Tableau, Power BI and Mural.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, ECBA) is a plus.
