We are currently conducting a confidential search for a Quality Assurance Manager, located in Montréal. Our client is in the manufacturing industry, and this is a full-time permanent position. This is an on-site position and there is about 10% of travel required, as the candidate will have to visit other sites from time to time. The candidate will report directly to the plant manager and have a dotted line to the Corporate QA Manager.The Role:
  • Leading, managing and training staff members and maintaining the quality system and all of its processes.
  • Developing and installing KPI’s and metrics while providing timely feedback to reports.
  • Overseeing all auditing processes, including AAR audits, internal audits, and others.
  • Review and analyze customer rejects and inspects all defects, reporting to supervisors and create a reduction plan to improve.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to enhance quality process and improve company alignment to achieve all quality assurance initiatives.
The Candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance in a related industry.
  • Experience conducting internal and external audits.
  • A detail oriented, highly organized professional with previous supervision experience.
  • Be open to do a little bit of travel (10% of the time) to other company locations.
