In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Your OpportunityAbout BDO’s Client & Market IntelligenceBDO’s Client & Market Intelligence practice and its services are designed to listen, analyze, and package objective market data and client insight—across several key industries and macroeconomic trends—to complement BDO’s business strategy, pursuit and delivery efforts.Role DescriptionBased in the GTA, the role of the Client & Market Research Analyst is to provide leadership in the delivery of strategic insights into industry and macroeconomic trends in the Canadian economy and ultimately lead and/or support the development and design of communication solutions (i.e. data visualizations) to enhance research deliverables.Furthermore, you’ll be a part of supporting A.I. driven technology innovation programs that are advancing the way people use, interact with and consume data. Working with a direct team of like-minded research specialists and creative talent, you’ll have access to the collaborators, tools and technologies to advance tomorrow’s best ideas.The Client & Market Research Analyst reports into the Client & Market Intelligence Lead.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Identify business challenges and conduct primary research, or leverage strong secondary sources through sound principles, in support of driving credible insight and guidance.
  • Understand and communicate business issues effectively, enhancing audience comprehension.
  • Are familiar with and can leverage AI tools to supercharge value and productivity.
  • Have a general understanding of the Canadian market and industry trends.
  • Use data to craft insightful reports and narratives tailored to project needs.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Support the creation of market-relevant applications and tools.
  • Participate in innovation programs to uncover new opportunities.
  • Develop and refine a variety of compelling communication materials.
  • Collaborate with national industry and service line teams on key projects.
  • Commit to project deadlines and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Work cooperatively, demonstrating initiative and the ability to coordinate tasks.

Experience, Education & Professional Skills/Knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years in a business analysis, strategy, marketing, or research role. Experience in professional services firm is a strong asset.
  • Strong quantitative research, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled and proficient with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and languages like DAX.
  • Skilled and proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Familiar with research database tools such as Statista, IBIS World, Gartner, etc.
  • Ability to draw insights and tell a story with data
  • Highly motivated, self-directed & possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and works well in a team environment
  • Solid interpersonal skills, coaching skills, collaboration and proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries
  • Success-driven, works well in a diverse team and enjoy a dynamic and changing environment
  • French language skills are an asset but not required
