DB/2 Developer with PythonHIGHLIGHTS
Location: Montréal, Montréal, Quebec, Canada (Hybrid)
Position Type: Direct Hire
Hourly / Salary: BOEOverview:In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.ResponsibilitiesWill be responsible for design, code & maintain databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols.Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements.Collaborate with other database teams and owners of different applications.Modify databases according to requests and perform tests.Maintain and own database in all environmentsMinimum Qualifications:
  • BE/B Tech/MCA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:Hands on Database Development ExperienceStrong relational DB knowledge with Sybase or DB2Well versed and Hand-on in Python.Create high quality stored procedures and queriesExperience with Power designer or similar modeling toolsPython and Unix/K-shellStrong knowledge of relational DB performance and optimizationExperience with BI tools is a plusSkills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required]DB2PythonStored Procedures"We are GTN –The Go To Network"
