Job Description :
  • Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas
  • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
  • Clear and clean preptables and front counter
  • Place dishes in storage area
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies and serving areas
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand such as kitchen utensils and containers.
  • Scour pots and pans
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
  • Serve customers at counters
  • Stock refrigerators
  • Take customers' orders
  • Operate cash register
  • Process money, and credit/debit card payments
  • Provide customer service and upsell
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
  • Set up and tear down equipment
RequirementsEducation: Some secondary education is requiredExperience: At least 7 months of experience is required. On the job training will be providedWork Conditions and Physical Capabilities: fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure, attention to detail.Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player, ability to multitask, initiative, dependability, and positive attitudeWork site environment: Noisy, Hot, Cold, refrigerated.Language: Intermediate English level is requiredSalary: $17.60 CAD hourly / 40 hours per weekBenefits

Important Information:Work on weekends and holidays will be required. Shifts will vary.
