- Perform any other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Set up workstations in preparation for the different service periods.
- Independently prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
- Prepare ingredients required for the dishes, following established recipes and specifications.
- Cook, grill, fry, steam, and use other cooking techniques to prepare dishes.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, including proper food storage, correct handling of equipment, and regular cleaning of work areas.
- Ensure dishes are prepared on time and maintain effective coordination with other kitchen team members.
- Monitor the quality of food products and report any issues or abnormalities to the Executive or Head Chef.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or an equivalent certification (Seaux Rouge, ASP, or CAP).
- Previous experience as a cook in a similar establishment.
- Proficiency in culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively and follow instructions from the Executive Chef.
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
