- Technology & Execution
- Provide deep technical oversight across the native mobile stack (Swift, Kotlin/Java), ensuring sound architecture, code quality, and best practices.
- Evaluate and evolve existing mobile architecture and development practices to improve scalability, performance, and developer velocity.
- Champion engineering excellence, CI/CD, test automation, and modern DevOps practices in mobile.
- Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner closely with Product, UX, Data, and cross-functional Engineering peers to deliver customer-obsessed mobile experiences.
- Translate business goals into a clear technical roadmap and execution strategy.
- Represent mobile engineering in strategic planning and company-wide initiatives.
- Talent & Culture
- Attract, retain, and grow top mobile talent.
- Mentor and develop engineering managers and tech leads into strong leaders.
- Drive inclusion, engagement, and team health across distributed teams.
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in mobile development and 3+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing native mobile teams delivering complex, customer-facing apps at scale.
- Deep technical expertise in Swift, Kotlin, Android/iOS SDKs, and architectural patterns like TCA, MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
- Experience leading organizational change and modernizing legacy teams or codebases.
- Strong business acumen and a passion for delivering measurable customer value.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- A curious, growth-oriented mindset with a bias for action.
- Experience in mobile analytics, A/B testing, or growth experiments.
- Previous work in consumer tech, retail, or e-commerce.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, internationalization, and mobile performance tooling.
