Required Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working as an Automotive Service Technician.
- Red Seal or Journeyman Status is strongly preferred, but highly skilled Level 3 apprentices will be considered.
- Comprehensive mechanical and calibration knowledge for a wide variety of makes and models.
- A diagnostic specialist who stays up-to-date on current industry trends and technology.
- Extensive knowledge and previous experience performing service on Electric Vehicles (EVs) is strongly preferred.
- Meticulously detailed with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to prioritize work to ensure maximum efficiency
- Physically capable of lifting 50lbs+
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with complete fluency in English is required.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
- Complete pre-scans of vehicles to diagnose potential hidden damage before repair
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for repair
- Conduct post-scans of vehicles following repair completion to ensure no additional issues were introduced during the repair process and that all previously identified issues have been fixed.
- Test and adjust vehicle sensors, cameras, radar units and ultrasonic transmitters as needed.
- Perform Static and Dynamic Calibrations to ensure all sensors (ADAS, Tire Pressure, Wheel Alignment, Steering, Camera, Radar, Headlight, Speedometer, Odometer, Fuel System, etc.) are functioning at OEM standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by minimizing clutter and using only approved tools for repair.
- Actively participate in maintaining the overall facility, health and safety standards and best business practices.
