We’re looking for a Human Resources Representative to join our team and support a wide range of HR functions that drive engagement, development, and organizational success.The HR Representative plays a key role in supporting employee relations, compliance, performance management, reporting, recruitment, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your HR expertise while contributing to meaningful initiatives across the organization.Specific AccountabilitiesHR Operations & Support
  • Provide support to employees through the disability management process.
  • Support HR Consultants with disciplinary processes.
  • Participate in onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Support miscellaneous letter requirements and job description development.
Metrics, Reporting & Compliance
  • Track and report HR metrics, including executive and board-level reporting.
  • Conduct research on HR legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain HR SharePoint content and support policy communication and education.
  • Lead the annual HR Effectiveness Survey and contribute to employer submissions.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Lead student and co-op recruitment programs and support career fair participation.
  • Collaborate on Indigenous employment initiatives and scholarship programs.
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day recruitment activities in the HRIS Recruiting Portal.
  • Coordinate job postings, approvals, and candidate communications.
  • Support hiring managers and union selection committees through consistent and compliant hiring practices.
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Diploma in Human Resources or related field with 3+ years of HR experience (equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of Canada Labour Code, PIPEDA, and collective agreements.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for recruitment events.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.
