Wage $24.34Responsibilities:
  • Serve meals in the dining rooms, in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Clean and set up dining tables
  • Uphold our high standards for food safety and sanitation.
  • Listen and make note of residents’ food and drink requests and needs.
  • Assist in the kitchen with; cooking, meal prep, stocking ingredients, dishwashing and maintaining equipment.
  • Communicate with care staff and Dietitian to ensure nutritional goals are being met for each resident.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a care home, hotel/club kitchen
  • Experience in serving specialized and textured diets
  • Food Safe certificate
  • Proof of Vaccination
Must be available to work every Tuesday 10:30am-6:30pm and as needed.About us: Casa Mia Care opened its doors in July 2023. This heritage home offers 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views over the Fraser River. Casa Mia is a storied 1930’s mansion boasting views of gorgeous grounds, the Fraser River, Georgia Straight, and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Casa Mia works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority to offer funded beds but also has 32 private pay rooms available.Powered by JazzHR
