Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do.Why this role is important?NurseWe are looking for a licensed practical nurse to help with immunizations during flu season to administer flu and covid vaccines. Also to help with other vaccines and injectable medications as well.What you’ll do:
  • Administer flu and Covid vaccines using the ImmsBC platform
  • Assess health status and provide appropriate vaccines such as influenza and herpes zoster
  • Identify and offer appropriate vaccines based on the travel destination
  • Offer various services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy such as point of care A1c and lipid testing
  • Provide instruction on the use of different devices such as glucometers, blood pressure monitors etc.
  • Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner
  • Work with the pharmacy team to develop the nursing service offering
Requirements
  • Licensed practical nurse (LPN) license in BC
