We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our agricultural products meet and exceed established quality standards. Your work will involve monitoring production processes, testing raw materials, and maintaining a well-equipped laboratory to support the delivery of high-quality products.Responsibilities:
  • Review production and batch reports to identify any potential impacts on product quality.
  • Conduct random sampling and testing to verify the consistency and quality of produced materials.
  • Evaluate and release on-hold materials by analyzing test results and performing visual inspections.
  • Monitor raw material quality through certificate reviews, random sampling, and compatibility testing.
  • Perform internal testing of new formulations to ensure compliance with quality standards and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare Certificates of Analysis and detailed reports for external stakeholders as required.
  • Investigate product complaints through experimental testing and propose actionable solutions.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and calibration schedules to ensure accurate testing capabilities.
  • Oversee external testing processes and foster relationships with analytical laboratory vendors.
  • Manage quality control documents, databases, and batch sample retention systems to ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO quality standards and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to perform quality control and assurance activities with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with chemical safety protocols and laboratory practices.
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Minimum of five years of laboratory experience, with a focus on quality and chemistry.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve quality issues through systematic approaches.
