  • Hours: Project dependent; minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
  • Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:
  • Apply drywall compound (mud) to seams, joints, angles, and screw/nail holes.
  • Tape drywall joints and ensure seamless finishes between drywall sheets.
  • Sand, smooth, and prepare surfaces for paint, texture, or final finish.
  • Repair or patch damaged drywall surfaces as required.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools (trowels, taping knives, sanders, etc.).
  • Ensure quality workmanship that meets project specifications and safety standards.
  • Work independently or as part of a crew to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
  • This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to deliver a smooth, professional finish.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Mudder & Taper.
  • Strong knowledge of mudding, taping, and sanding techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in various positions (standing, bending, reaching).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
  • CSTS 09, and WHMIS 2015 are required.
  • Fall Protection, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging/Hoisting and Hand. Signals, and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • A valid class 5 Driver's License is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.
