The role provides critical oversight of project staff, contractors, and vendors while maintaining compliance with operational, health, safety, and environmental standards.Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, and budget
  • Review and approve engineering designs to ensure alignment with project specifications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution
  • Monitor project progress, quality of work, and materials used to maintain standards
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and project documentation for management
  • Manage and allocate project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Evaluate completed projects and capture lessons learned to improve future initiatives
This is a dynamic, on-site role in a mining environment. Daily commute to and from the site is expected.Requirements
  • Proven experience in project control, coordination, or management in industrial, construction, or mining environments.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of engineering design processes and construction/project standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Experience with Microsoft Excel.
