- Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
- Process invoices, staff reimbursements, and vendor payments in accordance with WCT policies.
- Ensure donations, ticketing revenue, and other income are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Maintain orderly digital and physical financial records for audits and compliance.
- Assist the Finance Manager with payroll preparation and related reporting.
- Track staff timesheets, overtime, and vacation accruals.
- Support the administration of employee benefits and expense reimbursements.
- Support the Finance Manager in preparing monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Provide accurate and timely financial data for departmental and board reporting.
- Assist in monitoring budgets and flagging variances for review.
- Support adherence to WCT’s financial policies, internal controls, and industry best practices.
- Assist in preparation for year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Ensure financial practices are compliant with CRA and other regulatory requirements.
