Position SummaryAs a Greenskeeper you will be working outdoors, with shifts beginning at 5:30AM in the summer months. Duties will vary on a daily basis, depending on season and weather, and will include hand mowing, bunker raking, watering, line trimming and leaf blowing etc. You will also assist on projects that arise, for example irrigation and drainage work. These projects are excellent opportunities to learn more about course maintenance in general and as a possible career. This is a seasonal golf course position, however full-time year round employment is available at Deerhurst Resort. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.Duties & Responsibilities
Safe operation of utility vehicles, driving around the property.
Working well with the team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Daily set up of the golf courses - changing holes, raking bunkers, mowing grass.
Assisting with projects such as drainage, irrigation and fertilizing.
Key Requirements
Reliable transportation - able to get to Deerhurst at 5:30AM
Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean driving record
Willing to work flexible hours, including some weekend mornings and holidays
