- Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, documentation, probation tracking, and exit processes
- Coordinate bi-weekly payroll and related programs, including reimbursements, benefits, RRSP, and EOR administration
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of HRIS data, maintaining reliable and up-to-date employee records
- Manage employee inquiries through AskHR, maintain audit-ready documentation, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and resolve recurring issues
- Support people-related matters as needed, including documentation and providing guidance to managers, while maintaining confidentiality and escalating more complex situations where appropriate
- Support employee experience programs, including engagement surveys, onboarding check-ins, policy tracking, and recognition initiatives
- Partner with the Workplace Coordinator to deliver engaging, people-focused events and culture initiatives
- Coordinate global mobility processes, including immigration with external counsel, and ensure compliance with work authorization requirements and documentation
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong foundation in HR operations (HRIS, payroll, benefits, compliance)
- Experience working through people-related matters within an HR context
- Solid understanding of employment standards
- CPHR (or working toward it) is an asset
- Demonstrates reliability and consistently delivers high-quality work with strong follow-through
- Exercises sound judgement in people-related situations and provides clear, well-reasoned recommendations
- Handles sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and care
- Communicates clearly and thoughtfully, including in complex or challenging situations
- Takes ownership of outcomes and proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes
