
Technical Publications Specialist

- Develop, validate, publish, and maintain technical content in Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) format.
- Oversee publication maintenance, updates, and translations performed by contracted personnel.
- Create and manage Support Procedures as per S1000D specifications.
- Analyze and implement publication change requests in coordination with Airbus and DND stakeholders.
- Act as a focal point for customer interaction on documentation-related topics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and compliance with program requirements.
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (aeronautical or maintenance background preferred).
- 5–7 years of technical support experience in an aerospace or defence environment.
- Minimum 2 years working with IETMs and familiarity with S1000D standards.
- Solid command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple streams of work.
- Proficient in English; bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Project management experience is considered an asset.
- Eligible for Government of Canada security clearance.
- Willingness to travel as needed across Canada or internationally.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model (min. 50% onsite in Ottawa).
- Experience with the C-295 platform.
- Familiarity with DND programs or work on military contracts.
