The Fixed Video product finance team provides exceptional support, insights, and analysis to stakeholders within the Fixed Video business segment.The Fixed Video FP&A team oversees the financial aspects of the R&D organizations, offering strategic insights through forecasting, long-range planning, and financial analysis. By collaborating closely with VS&A business leaders, the team facilitates informed decision-making and ensures a clear understanding of financial implications throughout the organization.Job DescriptionThrough analysis, forecasting, long-range planning and partnering with business leaders, the Finance team enables strategic decision-making and helps contextualize financial implications across the company. In joining this team, you will work with a group of thoughtful, insightful individuals, all of whom are committed to solving complex problems and ensuring the continued growth of the company and its platforms.We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, with excellent communication and strong analytical skills to work closely with the larger Finance team and its stakeholders on strategic analyses, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.What you’ll do & more...Partner with Cloud Finance partners to better forecast customer-facing and operating expense-related cloud costs. Collaborate with Fixed Video’s R&D leadership team to establish revised monthly forecasts utilizing actual data from multiple platforms, and variance analysis while providing leadership with actionable financial insights to drive product development.Prepare and present monthly financial reviews for budget owners and executive leadership.Lead the long-term reforecasting exercises in support of investment requests and business case justifications.Perform ad-hoc strategic analyses and work across the business as needed.Additional Skills/Attributes6+ years experience in public accounting, corporate finance, or strategic finance at a high-growth startup or well established companyExposure and experience with NetSuite, SAP BI, Oracle Smart Views and/or other accounting systems strongly preferredAdvanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills. Familiarity with building complex financial models and manipulating large datasets to help the company make strategic recommendationsSQL proficiency (or a willingness to learn) a plusExcellent critical thinking and analytical skills with a formidable attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively to drive cross-functional execution on business goalsElevated pride of ownership in work productWillingness to roll up your sleeves, be additive when and where you can, and support team tasks to help out the company when necessary.When asked to deliver or solve for “X”, you’re keeping your eyes out for how to recommend the opportunities for “Y” and “Z”Target Base Salary Range: $105,000- $120,000 CADConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
