You will work closely with CPS staff to maintain safe, secure, and efficient operations, while supporting law enforcement in a professional and collaborative environment.This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured environments, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and are committed to public safety.Why This Role is ImportantYour work ensures that essential police equipment is properly managed, facilities are secure, and operations run smoothly. By performing patrols, monitoring security systems, and supporting staff and visitors, you contribute directly to the safety of CPS personnel and the broader community.What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alberta Security License and First Aid certification
- Valid Driver's License; PAL (Possession Acquisition License)
- Strong communication skills and professional, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment and situational awareness
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency)
- Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols in all weather conditions
- Climb stairs, lift up to 30 lbs., and maintain focus on security systems
- Stand or sit for extended periods as required
- Respond promptly to radio and telephone communications
- 4-on / 4-off schedule, 12-hour day & night shifts (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00)
