TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with one of the most trusted names within the HVAC space in North America.Our client is a manufacturer & distributor and carries one of the most comprehensive product lines in the industry.They are in search of a new Mechanical Estimator to join their team, who would be working with their Mechanical line of equipment, VRF, AHU’s, Rooftop Units, Chillers, & More.Salary Range - $80,000-$100,000+Mechanical EstimatorKey ResponsibilitiesPerform material and quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications.Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all estimating tasks.Track and manage all bid opportunities, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.Factor in any anticipated pricing changes or manufacturer increases in estimates.Utilize vendor-specific software tools to generate precise pricing and proposals.Review and incorporate all project addenda and updates throughout the bidding process.Clearly outline inclusions and exclusions in each estimate to avoid scope ambiguity.Prepare and organize complete bid submissions tailored to Mechanical Contractors.Support Sales and Project Management teams by assisting with Change Orders and Site Instructions.Participate in ongoing product and software training to stay informed on industry developments.Provide creative solutions and value engineering options when necessary to enhance project efficiency.Deliver exceptional customer serviceTake initiative in self-education and attend factory visits or manufacturer trainingFoster long-term relationships with clientsRepresent the company professionally during on-site meetings and project walkthroughs.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.Required Skills & Experience3 years minimum of experience with HVAC mechanical equipment.Previous estimating experience is preferred, an individual with customer service and quoting experience within the HVAC industry may be considered.Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and mechanical drawings.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-starter with creative problem-solving abilities and a resourceful mindset.Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Able to effectively manage time, multitask, and handle pressure independently.What’s in it for you?The opportunity to develop your career with a highly respective industry leader within North America.A culture that puts teamwork and customer service as their focus and invests in the long-term success of their employees.This position comes with a competitive compensation package including a pension plan, and a comprehensive benefits package.If this position is appealing to you, then please submit your resume (in word-doc form) to tlaird@talentsphere.ca Only candidates legally entitled to work in Canada will be considered
