Daily work is directed by the Lead to deliver a coordinated maintenance schedule. Working closely with other craft disciplines, they execute repairs and perform preventive maintenance to ensure high reliability and efficient equipment care.Accountabilities:Work safely and adheres to Shell Scotford policies, SWPs and Life Saving rulesUnderstand and follow Maintenance Execution Work Process practicesMaintain a high standard of workmanship, safety awareness and housekeeping under all conditionsExecute preventative and predictive maintenance programs in accordance with Repair Shop processes and proceduresProvide updates as work progresses to Job owner or Lead Craft and respective job leadSupport Central Repair technical team in the development of preventive maintenance systems, documentation, spare parts program, maintenance practices and procedures, infrastructure (tools and equipment)Support Engineering and Specialist with maintaining accurate records and drawingsMake decisions based upon maintenance guidelines, principles and trade practicesWork well with peers and stakeholders and is competent in conflict resolutionCoordinate daily personal work activities to ensure weekly maintenance plan and operations objectives are achievedComplete time writing tasks dailyEnsure equipment is suitable for service when work activities are completeLook for new and innovative ways to improve the maintenance process at ScotfordWork to solve delays and remove barriers but elevates issues when requiredExecute overhauls that meet or exceed Scotford's quality standardAdhere to the respectful workplace policy and code of conductDemonstrates strong self-motivation in executing daily responsibilities, consistently upholding a professional, positive, and collaborative approach to workWhat you bringMust have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employerMinimum Grade 12 diplomaMust hold a valid Red Seal Millwright CertificateJourneyman Machinist is a plusAt least 5 years’ relevant experienceExperience in Repair Shop is a plusMust be willing to work overtime and participate in off-shift coverage (nights and weekends), cold weather coverage, and turnaround supportProficient in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other rotating equipmentSkilled in dismantling, cleaning, inspecting, and rebuilding components in accordance with manufacturer specificationsIf you don’t see yourself fully reflected in every job requirement listed in the posting above, we still encourage you to reach out and apply.
