Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Program Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and program support for one of our clients in Hamilton, ON. This role supports day-to-day office operations by handling correspondence, responding to inquiries, processing financial and administrative documentation, and supporting inventory and corporate asset tracking.This role requires you to be detail-oriented, well organized, and comfortable handling confidential information while working in a fast-paced office environment.Pay Rate: $Location: Hamilton, ONShift: Mondays to Fridays | 8:30am to 4pmJob type: Temporary | Full-timeVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.Here's why you should apply:Paid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Type and word-process correspondence, agendas, minutes, and reports of a general, confidential, and technical natureReceive and respond to inquiries from staff, other departments, and the public by phone or in personAssess needs and refer inquiries to appropriate staff for resolution when requiredProcess administrative and financial documentation, including:InvoicesConference and travel formsEducation and training paperworkCheque requisitionsRequests for invoicesPetty cash reimbursementsBank depositsPurchase order requisitionsTrack payments, purchase orders, and inventory, including management of safe contentsRespond to internal service requests related to the issuance and return of corporate assets (e.g., computers, tablets, cell phones)Maintain accurate documentation and records using a manual tracking systemSupport general office operations and perform other administrative duties as assignedQualifications and Skills:High school diploma or equivalentPost-secondary education or training in Office Administration or Administrative Studies is an asset1-3 years of experience in an administrative, secretarial, or program support roleProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skillsProfessionalism and discretionStrong customer-service orientationAbility to manage multiple prioritiesReliability and adaptabilityTeam-oriented with the ability to work independentlyOccasional lifting of computer shipments, office supplies, and related itemsPrimarily a seated role, with some standing required for inventory-related tasksMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
