People & Culture Operations CoordinatorOur Calgary-based client is seeking a People & Culture Operations Coordinator to support the core administrative and operational functions of the P&C team. This role ensures processes are efficient, compliant, and employee-focused, and is essential to maintaining smooth P&C systems and workflows while supporting the daily operations of the People team. This position is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, providing an opportunity for the successful candidate to transition into a long-term role based on performance and business needs Your success will be defined by your ability to:
Administer employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with policies and employment laws
Maintain accurate and confidential HRIS data
Support payroll, benefits administration, and leave tracking
Process salary payroll for the company
Coordinate recruitment logistics, including job postings, interviews, and background checks
Facilitate onboarding by preparing documentation and coordinating system access
Track HR calendars, compliance deadlines, and reporting requirements
Identify and support improvements to HR processes, tools, and systems
Your strengths include:
1–3 years of experience in HR administration or coordination
Proficient with HR systems and MS Office or Google Workspace
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Able to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of employment laws is an asset
