- Thorough understanding of CCME regulatory frameworks is required; experience with other regulatory frameworks (AB, SK, MB, NWT) is an asset.
- Hands-on experience in GIS, databases and basic programming is an additional benefit.
- Responsibility also includes regulatory communication and mentoring/supervision of junior staff.
- Candidates should have a strong sense of self-motivation toward assigned projects with proven ability as a team player.
- Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Parsons will give candidates the flexibility to work between office and/or remote locations.
- 4-year degree in a scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive and diverse experience with contaminated sites in western and northern Canada
- Direct/specialized experience in one or more of the disciplines listed.
- Proficiency in various software applications typically used with the assigned discipline.
- Requires a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills.
- Eligibility for registration in, or maintaining a good standing in, a professional organization.
