The Ross family takes pride in providing compassionate, quality patient care.Department/Unit/Program DescriptionThe Diagnostic Imaging Department (DI) offers a variety of services to inpatients and outpatients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Modalities offered include X-ray, CT, MRI, US, Mammography (including Ontario Breast Screening OBSP), Echocardiography and non-invasive IR procedures.Orthopedic fracture clinics run multiple days per week, adding to the variety of patients seen. Patient complexity ranges based on individual patient needs.Position SummaryThe Diagnostic Imaging Department is currently seeking a Casual Medical Radiation Technologist to join their team.Effective Date: April 20, 2026Essential Qualifications
Active member of College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
General x-ray, OR, portable work
Current CPR certification, on hire
High level of communication, organizational and time management skills
Ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff, patients and the public
PACS experience
Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job, as per the current Physical Demands Analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Computer experience in a Windows environment
Certified in Administration of Intravenous Contrast Agents
Hours of WorkMust be available for all shifts, Monday to Sunday, including weekends, and statutory holidays.
