What does this role entail?A day in the life of a Logistics Team Member would include...
  • Assist in unloading deliveries and moving stock to the correct storage areas
  • Ensure all stock is put away promptly and stored in line with First in, First out (FIFO)
  • Help with temperature checks and visual checks on incoming stock, reporting any issues to the Supervisor
  • Keep all back-of-house areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
  • Support with the collection and correct storage of pallets and any redundant equipment
  • Dispose of waste materials in designated areas and assist with maintaining a clear workspace
  • Work as part of a small team to meet daily operational goals
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, delivery drivers, and other departments
  • Follow all health, safety, and food safety guidelines at all times
What is required for this role?Here are some desirable qualities required for this role...
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions accurately
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Physically fit, able to lift and move stock safely, including heavy items
  • Familiarity with stock handling and food safety (training will be provided)
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable
