From highways and roadways to complex construction projects, our reputation has been built on quality workmanship, safety and long-standing relationships with our customers and the communities we work in.The Loader Operator supports crushing and mobile plant operations at various project locations within Alberta and includes out of town work. The role involves assisting with crusher setup, groundwork and general plant operations to keep production running safely and efficiently.Job Responsibilities
  • Safely operate loaders and other mobile equipment in pit and plant environments
  • Maintain consistent material feed to the crusher
  • Monitor stockpiles and material quality
  • Assist with crusher setup, moves, and tear downs
  • Perform groundwork around the crusher and plant including cleanup, clearing blockages, and general labour support
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance
  • Follow all company safety procedures and participate in daily hazard assessments
  • Work overtime and weekends as required during the construction season
Qualifications
  • Experience operating loaders in construction, pit or plant environments
  • Willing to perform physical work outside of equipment
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in remote locations for extended periods
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance
  • Physically capable of performing labour intensive tasks
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (driver's abstract required prior to hire)
