- Source and purchase products from domestic (Canada) and international suppliers represented by Centrix Control Solutions.
- Ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery of goods.
- Expediting & Planning
- Track and expedite manufacturing progress and shipping timelines with vendors, both domestic and international.
- Respond promptly to sales teams and customers regarding order updates or when expediting is required.
- Documentation & Logistics
- Prepare and maintain accurate records: purchase orders, warranty claims, waybills, PO receipts, Domestic and International.
- Process and track warranty claims with domestic and international vendors.
- Produce commercial invoices for international shipments
- Process documentation when required to ship products.
- Manage import/export documentation and maintain good relationships with customs brokers and freight companies.
- Approve invoices for processing.
- Customer & Vendor Communication
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and logistics providers to coordinate and communicate order status and resolution of any issues.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Experience with international sourcing and purchasing – highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Incoterms.
- Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to integrate into a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and professional approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with ERP software systems.
