Job DescriptionWhat is this opportunity?The RBC Dominion Securities Maple Ridge branch is currently recruiting for an Associate to provide coverage during a maternity leave for one of our Investment teams. The successful candidate will possess a passion for service excellence and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.What will you do?
  • Be a first point of contact for the team
  • Provide a proactive client experience with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail while coordinating with various departments and Portfolio Manager/Investment Advisor for execution, where necessary
  • Maintain current knowledge of client accounts by reviewing daily activity through internal reports and applications
  • Utilize contact management system for daily task management
  • Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable to follow up, as required
  • Proactively contact clients to schedule reviews
  • Execute post-meeting work/tasks based on meeting notes/emails/tasks and role accountabilities
  • Manage and execute on cash flow processes-wires, deposits, withdrawals, etc.
  • Manage operations work-transfers in, documentation, account changes/creation, etc.
  • Provide world class client service to our valued clients

  • Administrative experience

  • Knowledge around Dominion Securities systems an asset
  • Undergraduate degree

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.The expected base salary range for this position is $37,500 - $45,000.This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.RBC’s compensation philosophy and principles recognize the importance of a highly qualified global workforce and plays a critical role in attracting, engaging and retaining talent that:
