
Media Experts - Project Manager

- Coordinates and leads planning and execution efforts for multiple projects including identification of tasks and deliverable milestones.
- Ensures quality execution and delivery of solutions through optimized workload distribution
- Works with their account team(s) to understand and manage the expectations of both internal and external clients at the project level. Communicates potential variances upstream through senior members in a timely fashion.
- Serves as a primary escalation point for project issues that impact the client. Works with the planning team to identify options for resolution and communicate those options upstream.
- Attends client kick-off and status meetings and participates in scoping meetings. Communicates meeting objectives to team members, ensuring efficient scheduling and appropriate agenda and recap documentation standards are met.
- Develops and provides ongoing status reports to the client & informs the senior client leadership team.
- Help facilitate productive meetings and working sessions that align the team and uncover ways forward
- Be an active and main point of contact for the client
- Build positive internal and external relationships and partnerships
- Assists with customizing solutions & templates within a project management tool to align with client-specific elements.
- Educate/ Communicate to team members about Media Experts processes
- Able to train agency employees on basic PM tool functionality and best practices
- Support Agile Teams - Sprint Reviews, Internal Status, supports backlog refinement
- Assist with major process changes or implementations
- Assists in setting up new teams in the project management tool
- Able to troubleshoot the project management tool issues to assist team members and staff with issues.
- Loves making workflows more efficient.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. (mainly Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Fluent in English. (French fluency also required for Quebec candidates)
- Post-secondary education in project management, media, advertising, communications, business administration or other relevant fields or 3-4 years work experience, working within an advertising/media agency environment or connex industry with Project Management experience/education.
- Ability to embrace and learn internal project management tools and systems (Asana)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Highly developed organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent ability to manage and prioritize time effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc.
