  • OpenText Cloud Platform (OCP), our multi-tenant Platform as a Service offering that provides the foundation for all of our next generation Public Cloud SaaS offerings.
  • OpenText Developer Cloud that provides access to all OpenText Information Management capabilities as Services (APIs) to enable our customers and partners to leverage these in building industry vertical propositions.
  • Business Process Automation capabilities for our customers.
This position is based in the OpenText office in Richmond Hill, Canada.Your Impact:The OCP Platform team is seeking a talented Senior Manager to work in partnership with Product Management, Architecture and the Cloud Operations teams on shaping and delivering on Platform roadmap capabilities. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Platform Engineering team to ensure technical quality and efficient use of resources. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and within agreed-upon quality standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams within OpenText and partner with key stakeholders. This is a tremendous opportunity to get in and shape the direction of the next generation of developer tools and environments that OpenText is building for OCP developers.What the role offers:
  • Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, Release Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards while driving customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor teams to achieve sprint/release goals, facilitate planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Provide visibility on risks/impediments, ensure timely reporting, and drive resolution for delivery success.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships while fostering innovation and process improvement.
  • Support team development, career progression, and organizational change initiatives to enhance delivery methodologies.
What you need to succeed:
  • MS in Computer Science (MS CS) or equivalent experience with extensive industry engineering background, including management/project management.
  • Proven expertise in SaaS/Cloud Development, DevOps (GitLab/GitHub), Kubernetes, and Hyperscalers (GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • Strong experience in JAVA application design and development, including Spring Framework/SpringBoot and API-first software development.
  • Agile project management training and hands-on delivery experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams, fostering motivation, planning, and delivery success.
