Project & Delivery LeadershipLead projects from preconstruction through closeout using Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and collaborative contracting modelsFacilitate alignment between owners, designers, consultants, trade partners, and internal teamsChampion Lean Construction principles, including:Last Planner® SystemPull planning and look-ahead planningConstraint managementContinuous improvement and retrospectivesEnsure project goals related to schedule certainty, cost predictability, quality, and value optimization are achievedClient & Stakeholder ManagementDevelop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and project partnersEnsure a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolutionAlign project outcomes with client objectives, IPD agreements, and Atkinson Construction standardsRepresent and uphold Atkinson Construction’s brand, values, and reputation in all project interactionsTeam & Trade Partner CoordinationLead multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partnersFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and shared problem-solvingCoordinate subcontractors and consultants to ensure alignment with IPD commitments and project milestonesEncourage early trade involvement and constructability inputPlanning, Cost & Risk ManagementManage budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and shared risk/reward structures common to IPD projectsProactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks through collaborative planningOversee project schedules with a focus on reliability and workflow stabilityEnsure scope clarity, change management discipline, and transparent reportingSafety & QualityMaintain a strong emphasis on safety, ensuring compliance with all OH&S standards and site-specific requirementsPromote safety as a shared responsibility across all project partnersEnsure quality standards are met or exceeded throughout all project phasesWhat you must have:
Education & ExperienceCET, P.Eng, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 5 years of direct Project Management experience, with preference for:3+ years in a senior or lead PM roleExperience in a mid-sized construction companyDemonstrated experience delivering projects using IPD or collaborative delivery modelsExperience with Lean Construction methodologies, including Last Planner® (formal certification is an asset)Technical & Project Expertise: Strong understanding of:Building envelope systemsPre-engineered buildingsDesign-build and alternative delivery contractsExperience managing construction crews and trade partnersExperience in both public and private sector contracting is an assetProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office SuiteProfessional AttributesExcellent time management and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complexitySound decision-making skills and professional judgmentHigh level of customer service and relationship managementStrong verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative, team-oriented leadership styleAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving project environmentSalary/Rate Range: $110,000-$135,000Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
