This role is split between accounting (70%) and payroll/HR administration (30%), requiring expertise in QuickBooks for accounting functions and ADP for payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.   • Review, code, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
  • Monitor and respond to accounting-related emails promptly.
  • Track outstanding balances and follow up with clients regarding overdue payments.
  • Perform account reconciliations and prepare financial reports as needed.
Payroll & HR Administration (30%) – ADP
  • Prepare, process, and reconcile bi-weekly payroll for 70 employees (including 60 drivers) using ADP and an automated timekeeping system.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with company policies, employment standards, and government regulations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including hours worked, leave balances, deductions, and benefits.
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks, including preparing performance review templates, employee documentation, and filing.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of combined experience in accounting and payroll administration.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting functions.
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and employment standards in BC.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
