- Review, code, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Monitor and respond to accounting-related emails promptly.
- Track outstanding balances and follow up with clients regarding overdue payments.
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare financial reports as needed.
- Prepare, process, and reconcile bi-weekly payroll for 70 employees (including 60 drivers) using ADP and an automated timekeeping system.
- Ensure payroll compliance with company policies, employment standards, and government regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including hours worked, leave balances, deductions, and benefits.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks, including preparing performance review templates, employee documentation, and filing.
- 3+ years of combined experience in accounting and payroll administration.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting functions.
- Experience with ADP payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and employment standards in BC.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
