- Lead team to design and implement all material plans, to ensure compliance to all procurement policies, to manage all communication among team members and to procure all supplies and services as required.
- Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Lead continuous improvement activities to improve procurement systems and processes together with customer functions and supply chain.
- Train new employees in the procurement process and how to use the procurement system.
- Coach, train and lead procurement team members to ensure compliance and monitor all procurement activities.
- Evaluate and manage inventory levels to minimize value of inventory, while also managing auto min/max inventory replenishment and automated ordering process.
- Design and implement various procurement strategies and procurement policies and participate in all supplier reduction programs in coordination with global supply chain team and determine appropriate programs for all purchase requirements and assist to reduce supply chain cost.
- Oversee all program management for cost reduction budget setting and management of action plans to achieve cost reduction goals.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams on shipments and escalation of urgent orders.
- Liaise with Division Managers, financial controllers and suppliers to maintain positive relationships and ensure operational sustainability.

- Degree or diploma in business administration or a related field or equivalent or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of Supply Chain process and supply ordering techniques
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate cost and lead data driven negotiations
- Knowledge of mining, heavy equipment, and manufacturing processes an asset.
- Proven statistical and data analysis, dashboard development and reporting to customers and operational management.
- Build relationships and communicate with all levels of the business including but not limited to: Suppliers, Supply Chain team, Drilling Operations Field Employees and Supervisors, Drilling Operations Management, Maintenance Management, Finance, HR.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task and work successfully in an international and multi-functional team.
- Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion within constraints and deadlines.
- 5+ years of relevant working experience.
- Experience working in an ERP environment (Oracle ERP and Qlikview Dashboard a plus).
- Experience leading cross-functional peers and customers toward a shared vision to achieve aspirational and stretch goals together.
- Adhere to all relevant guidelines, regulations and ethical business practices.
