Location: GTA, OntarioA reputable General Contractor specializing in interior institutional projects is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee upcoming school renovation and fit-out projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and coordinating trades and schedules to deliver projects efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and hands-on experience running interior or renovation-type builds within the institutional or educational sector.Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day site operations for interior institutional (school) projectsCoordinate subcontractors, trades, and materials to maintain project timelinesEnforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code and company standardsConduct quality checks and maintain a clean, organized siteCollaborate with the Project Manager on scheduling, documentation, and issue resolutionQualifications:5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent on interior or institutional renovation projectsProven track record managing school or similar public-sector interiorsStrong leadership, problem-solving, and scheduling skillsSolid understanding of Ontario Building Code and construction safety requirementsValid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the West GTA regionWhat’s Offered:Competitive salary between $75K and $95K, based on experienceSupportive team environment with steady project flow across Southern OntarioLong-term growth opportunities within a reputable GCIf you have experience delivering interior institutional projects and take pride in maintaining well-run, compliant job sites, we’d like to hear from you.
