- University Degree, or 3-year Community College Diploma with relevant experience, in a relevant field; University Degree in a technical or business-related field (Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, HBA/MBA, etc.) is preferred
- Project Management Professional certification
- 5 years of experience in project management within a complex office environment
- Familiarity with Research Information Management Systems (RIMS) and their implementation best practices would be an asset
- Understanding of the scholarly publishing life cycle and the role of research information management in supporting institutional goals would be an asset
- Ability to align projects with institutional goals and navigate organizational complexity
- Ability to influence without authority to manage diverse stakeholder needs
- Ability to provide clear and adaptive communication in evolving environments to various stakeholders
- Ability to lead through uncertainty and help teams adapt to shifting priorities

- Proficient at Office 365 software including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
- Knowledge of work breakdown development and task management through MS Project, Jira, Teams Planner, Excel and common tools such as Asana, Smartsheet and Monday.com
- Ability to complete detailed analytics and reports and lead business discussions
- Strong customer service skills to handle inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Ability to work independently on tasks after appropriate training and make day-to-day decisions based on established guidelines
- Ability to identify and document processes within area of responsibility, including areas which need improvement
- Ability to work with vendors and project teams to configure, customize, and troubleshoot third party systems
