Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.Please visit our website:Who are you?Turner & Townsend is seeking a detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler, with 5+ years experience, to play an integral role in the planning and scheduling activities for a multi-billion-dollar, multi-phased major program in Kincardine, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Primavera P6, complex major programs involving multiple billion-dollar-projects and have excellent experience in critical thinking to challenge and drive schedule optimization and efficiencies.Job DescriptionAs a Scheduler/Planner you will be involved in:
- Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) in concert with Project controls Lead, Project cost consultant and contractor, and in conjunction with Project Execution Plans
- Preparing labor histograms (information availability dependent)
- Lead and support the project team in the implementation of an integrated enterprise based, cross functional master schedule programs with various party inputs and which may involve multiple projects
- Conduct the required project schedule analysis (including cost and resource loaded schedules), critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for the project and received from contractors and/or third parties. Similarly, analysis of testing and commissioning schedules will be required.
- Develop and report against EVM targets and highlight areas where efficiencies can drive EVM.
- Regularly contribute and support delivery of QSRA’s and QCRA’s
- Participate in project meetings and provide schedule updates, insights, and recommendations.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project controls and time/schedule management
- A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Membership in relevant professional organizations is beneficial
- Proficient and expert experience level using project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse)
- Experience at delivering scheduling functions within the Infrastructure sector (Nuclear, Energy, Utilities).
- Willingness to work on-site within the client environment at Kincardine only three days per week. Expenses for travel and accommodation will be paid by Turner & Townsend and flexible arranges can be discussed.
