This role supports compliance with payroll legislation and company policies, responds to employee inquiries, and assists with reporting and reconciliations, while also contributing to broader HR and administrative functions. What you’ll be doing:
  • Process payroll for hourly, salaried, and commission employees in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and documentation, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and audit readiness.
  • Administer employee benefits and RRSP programs, including enrollments, updates, and scheduled contributions.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll-related documents (e.g., ROEs, T4s) and support accurate final pay processing for employee departures.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries, reconcile payroll reports, and collaborate with HR, Accounting, and managers to resolve discrepancies and support reporting requirements.
What you need to be successful:
  • 2–3 years of payroll administration experience, preferably using ADP Workforce Now or similar systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve payroll issues independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), strong time management skills, and working knowledge of payroll legislation; PCP or CPM designation considered an asset.
