As a VDC Coordinator, you will play a key role in helping invent the future of design and construction by supporting and enabling project teams to thrive with state-of-the-art BIM/VDC/Innovation tools and methods. At the same time, you see the big picture, working with our team to rethink construction together, from idea to completion. Everywhere. All the time. Period.What you will do:

Jump in right from project start-up and identify BIM/VDC uses which have the potential to be beneficial for the project;
Facilitate the implementation of BIM/VDC processes collaboratively with the project operations and BIM/VDC teams;
Get creative and establish protocols for key elements including communication, exchange of data, and 3D workspace;
Collaborate with proposal and pre-construction teams
Find joy in teaching others who are still learning to use BIM Collaboration platforms, work to take away their fears and inspire them to stretch their abilities.
Collaborate with the scheduling team to enhance and support the 4D process, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Manage the scope of activities to support site logistics teams with scanning and drone operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Constantly learn to keep your own expertise at the leading edge through continuing professional development, experimentation and research;
Celebrate project success and completion and be a key member of the project wrap-up process.
Participate in the R&D innovation group initiatives on different research axis.
Promotion of Pomerleau's innovation methods at various events
Work with the estimation team in the process (5D) and quantity take-off linked with 3D models
Train and coach the subtrades to develop themselves in 3D modeling and preparation of installation/fabrication plans
Monitor and report BIM/VDC tasks progress throughout the project lifecycle and identify opportunities for improvement of existing practices
Take charge of coordinating construction efforts and lead vibrant meetings that drive project success.
Become the go-to expert for resolving design conflicts and ensuring seamless project execution.
Join a team of top-tier VDC professionals from across Canada and work on ground-breaking projects.
Develop and refine process documentation that sets new standards for efficiency and excellence.

This role could be for you if you have:

7+ or more years' of BIM experience in the AEC industry;
A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Architecture or MEP Technology or a combination of education and construction industry experience;
A proven track record of BIM project coordination and team collaboration;
Solid written and verbal communication skills;

Proficiency with computers especially with BIM software including: Revit, Dynamo, Plannerly, Fuzor, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto, Primavera P6 / MS Project, etc.
